Our natural, cold processed soap hydrates and cleanses the skin without use of harsh chemicals or synthetic skin softeners. It removes dirt but cleans gently, so that the natural layer of moisture produced by your skin stays in-tact. The ingredients that we use are the least drying of any on the market – we use natural, fully biodegradable exfoliants like oatmeal, sand and sea salt that scrub deep enough to remove any bacteria (instead of pushing it deeper into your skin), but gentle enough to not strip your skin dry.
At the same time, our soap gives your skin the same smooth feeling that people only think they get from body wash – we use natural emollients (skin softeners) like Kaolin Clay, goat’s milk and shea butter, that hydrate your skin and maintain moisture from natural body oil instead of “re-moisturizing” and stripping your skin, like body wash does.
Love the fact that Dr. Squatch has joined up with Fire Dept Coffee in a product offering. FDC is right here in my hometown of Rockford, Illinois. Started by some local EMS folks that found success with a great product. Full disclosure, havn’t ordered my Dr. Squatch products yet but will be doing so very soon. Looking forward to trying and become a customer. I have two other boys (adults) in my home right now so it will definately get put to good use.
Wishing you great success.

Al Watts
This is an insightful post. My experience with body washes were… unpleasant. Simply put, I felt slippery and queer, and spent too money. I settled with a brand name bar of soap, but wanted a ‘natural’ bar of soap. Until I watched an advertisement of Dr. Squatch, even though I’m chary about advertisements. Nonetheless, I ordered my first batch and I wasn’t disappointed, at all. Now I use Dr. Squatch in my daily routine: showers, baths, and washing my hands. Pine tar, gold moss scrub, and spearmint basil scrub are my favorites.
I highly recommend giving Dr. Squatch a try.
I like how clean and baby soft my skin feels after I wash myself in the shower with this bar soap.
